Process Work
Here is the very start of this project. For my Residential design class, we are renovating my professor's house. We have a client example that we are basing our design on. I started the project with bubble and blocking diagrams to start getting an idea of the layout and where the walls will be located.
BLOCKING DIAGRAMS
The second step of the project was to block out where the walls might be located. This is blocking for the first floor!

FLOOR PLAN LEVEL 1
After completing the blocking diagrams I started to demo and layout the walls and furniture in the house. Here is the layout of the first floor. Featuring an office, half bath, dining room, kitchen, living room, sunroom studio, breakfast nook and garage.

FLOOR PLAN LEVEL 2
The second story features a master bedroom, master bath, master sitting room, and closet. Also has laundry, 2 guest bedrooms, a guest bathroom, a kids bedroom/play area, and a kid's bathroom.
