Watercolor Paintings
In January of 2023, I got the opportunity to study abroad in Italy. We visited Rome, Florence, and Siena. When returning to campus we spend a couple of weeks on watercolor paintings from the photographs we took. My competed projects are below!
"Welcome Home"
This is a painted inspired by a photograph in
Siena, Italy. This is the exterior of someone's home portraying there window and door.
"The Vespa"
This painting was more of an abstract approach that portrays the feel of Italy. With the rustic brick, vegetation, and Vespa.
"All of Italy"
This was our final painting where I took 5 images and put them together aesthetically to make one watercolor collage. This is called "All of Italy" because there are many elements such as the cobblestone, plants, mountains, and buildings that make the feel of Italy as a whole.
